Grandma vs. The Mysterious Internet Outage

Uncategorized

Yesterday, I got an emergency call from my mother-in-law:
“Help! The internet’s dead!”

Without hesitation, I jumped into my car and raced over to her house like some kind of IT superhero.
When I arrived, I found the battlefield: two devices — a router and a Wi-Fi access point — sitting there silently, refusing to cooperate.

After a quick inspection, the culprit was clear:
The LAN cable that was supposed to connect them had been completely unplugged.
No wonder the internet had vanished!

With a dramatic flourish (okay, maybe not that dramatic), I plugged the cable back in…
and just like magic, the internet came back to life.
Mission accomplished.

Apparently, during a cleaning frenzy, she had unknowingly yanked out the cable.
Ah, the hidden dangers of housekeeping — who knew?
