Problem Management Method in An Undefined Operation

The system which I am in charge of is widely used in Japan.
Unfortunately, this product is not used in other countries.

Users sometime operate the system in an undefined way.
Although this rarely causes any problems, it can occasionally lead to problems.

My problem management method for such cases is below.

1.Analyze the problem.
It is important for our customers to reduce the damage of their business.
Therefore, analyze the business impact of the problem.

2.Identify customers who may experience the problem.
It is important for us to determine the root cause of the problem, too.

3.Notify the people concerned regarding the problem details, recovery/prevention method and the fixed program release schedule for them.
